Training & Facilitation

Facilitation training that builds a skill, not a certificate.

Our training is based on learning by doing. Participants practise tools, facilitate discussions, receive feedback, and apply what they learn to real organizational challenges — not just listen to concepts.

In short

JoyeLearn runs five facilitation training programs in Singapore, delivered in partnership with Grape People (Finland): CSA Facilitator Certification (5.5 days, three modules), Change Facilitator Training (2 days), Co-creation Facilitator Training (4 days), Innovation Facilitator Training (4 days) and Appreciative Inquiry Training (1 day). Every program is learning by doing — participants practise the tools, facilitate, receive feedback and apply the methods to real organizational challenges.

Facilitation and organizational development programs

Each program runs as a public course, as in-company training adapted to your context, or as part of a longer certification track.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what people ask before booking a program.

Which facilitation program should I start with?

If you want a general workshop facilitation capability, start with the CSA Facilitator Certification Program — Module 1 alone gives you a structure and a toolbox. If you have a specific situation, choose by that situation: change implementation points to Change Facilitator Training; product or business development to Innovation Facilitator Training; collaborative development with teams and customers to Co-creation Facilitator Training; and strengths-based development, team energising or values work to Appreciative Inquiry.

Do any of these lead to a certification?

Three do. The CSA Facilitator Certification Program certifies you after 5.5 days across three modules. Co-creation Facilitator Training and Innovation Facilitator Training each certify you after four days. In every case the certificate evidences a demonstrated skill — that you can design and deliver a workshop — rather than written coursework.

Can programs be run in-company rather than as public courses?

Yes. Every program runs as a public course, as in-company training adapted to your context, or as part of a longer capability-building track. Group size is capped at 25 participants.

What does 'learning by doing' actually mean here?

Each program follows the same learning process: a full demonstration and experience of the process, a participatory presentation of the theory behind it, explanation of the methods and techniques, small-group reflection on how to apply it, and examples from real experience. Participants experience a method before they analyse it.

Who is Grape People and how are they involved?

Grape People is a Finnish company founded in 2003 by a team of facilitation pioneers, specialising in facilitation training and services. JoyeLearn delivers these programs as an authorised partner. Per the program documentation, the CSA certification is quality-endorsed by Education Finland and audited by the Finnish Education Evaluation Centre (karvi.fi).

Are the programs delivered in English or Chinese?

Both are available. The program materials exist in English and Chinese, and delivery language is agreed with the client — this matters for in-company training in Singapore and Greater China.
